What will it cost?
Somerset HIPS believe that its pack is one of the most competitive on the market. There are two payment options:-

A payment of £245. No VAT will be added. This discounted price will apply only if you instruct Barons Property Centre to market your property and Thatcher and Hallam Solicitors to carry out your conveyancing.This payment will be due on instruction to Somerset HIPS, or |
| (ii) |
If you prefer to use your own estate agent or solicitor then the cost of the HIP will be £295, no VAT will be added. |
However:-
| (a) |
In the case of leasehold properties there will be a surcharge of £35 |
| (b) |
In the case of an unregistered property there will be a surcharge of £35 |
| (c) |
Whilst the prices quoted include all usual expenses, any additional payments due to a third party for securing the required information (e.g. for details of service charges on a leasehold property) must be paid for by the client as soon as the relevant amount has been ascertained. |
